I was browsing IMDB and I got this:

You would think a big company that is listed at the NYSE (Amazon) would get better advertisements than popup spyware software.

While I'm ranting. What's up with winamp website now having to always have at least one of their sponsored WB channel or some product skin advertised. They usually suck anyway.

Probably they don't have complete control over their advertising and it got stuck in without their knowledge.

Did anyone upgrade to the newest version of Winamp?

I did and now the always on top feature doesn't work. I've checked and unchecked it.

I uninstalled the old version then installed new version, so shouldn't be any conflicts (although didn't restart computer)

EDIT- fixed it.

actually you're wrong.

go to preferences, UNCHECK the box next to "disable always on top when fullscreen applications are in focus" in the General Preferences, it's the very most bottom option.

It wasnt staying up when I would press the show desktop icon like it used to.

Yes. As the ad at the top of the page is the exact same as the security warning.

I don't believe I was viewing any other pages with popups.

Get that SuperTrick thing that used to come with Kazaa Lite. That is pretty good at blocking all those ad/pop-up thingys. I would link you but forum rules...

I just got the same popup, but I wouldn't say that it's stooped to a new low.  That is impossible.  It couldn't have been any worse than before.
