I just got Emperor:BFD and when I clicked install, the splash image comes up(which is very cool) and then it brings up an error "DirectDraw does not support the requested mode" I mean wtf? Is it a defected cd? I have the latest version of DirectX (Vers.8). Anyone else get this?

Could be your graphics card not being new enough... or its drivers not being updated.

First you could try and give us your Video/Graphics Card Specs

if you have an nVidia you might want to get the new Detonation 3 Drivers
