Its just a political jesture....you know dam well we are still controling things....why do you think 135,000 Americans + 20,000 other coalition forces are going in....we are still occupying the place...was just done to make the iraqi people feel that Iraqis are in control...try to settle down the place...

Well, we have to wait for US troops to start moving out of Iraq. Though, my worry then will be whether or not the Iraqi government is ready to roll with keeping stability.

My point is that we arnt moving out we are moving in :)

Were not going anywhere for awhile...

Yeah, the Pentagon is calling up even more reservists to send over.

We have this Sheriff in an Arizona county who houses his prisoners in a tent city in the desert.  It can get about the same heat as Iraq, and as one was complaining once he told the guy he could arrange to send him over there so he could have heat and people shooting at him.

My feelings:

Convict Conscription=Cannon Fodder.

Convict Conscription=Rise in rapes and other serious crimes where they are deployed.

Essentially here's my feeling:

America Invades = American Victory = America Institutes 'Democracy' (being the American ideal) = American Forces Continue To Occupy = America Has The Real Say = Iraq Now Run By Bush's Dictorial Rule = Iraq Becomes A Puppet Like Iran = American Finally Leaves = Same Event In 20 Years Unless Bush Really Wants To Keep His Eyes On That Iraqi 'Gold.'

too too complicated GH

Iraq has nukes and our friends exxon and arco and halliburton will rid them if we invade, we invade give power to hallibuton's CEO's long lost arab son(who really is a robot) and we get oil ;D

Hey, I don't know about you guys, but I rather like the idea of a sovereign nation run by another country's viceroys, with another country's laws, protected by another country's army.  It's kinda like getting another country's sovereignty!  And that's not an oxymoron at all!

Soon they will be sending colonists to Iraq. Maybe all the prisoners in the U.S. Kinda like what Britain did to Australia and stuff. Cheap labor :)

Haha colonists that is funny dude ..  :D  i spit up my coffee reading that.

A small step. Clearly sensible that they did it a little early, but events on the ground (specifically with regards waterand other necessities) are more definitive of any successes or failures.
