They're not though.  And even if they were, the remaining 40% is still neough to destroy the earth.  You do know it is impossible to have rusty uranium?

What does MIRV mean?  You know Russians don't keep their nukes in one place.  Especially in a war or near war situation.  This would make it hard, if not impossible for the Americans to get them all.  Also, Russia has its own stealth planes.

Multiple Independently Targeted Reentry Vehicle.  Basically a nuclear cluster bomb, multiple warheads that can split off against different targets, but launched on the same missile.

i think barbarossa is talking about the CARRIER mechanisms.

(That was exactly what I meant, thank you for pointing it out.)

Meaning the uranium warhead can be perfectly ok .. BUT the missile apparatus that it is attached onto... can have faulty wiring, broken seals, rocket fuel leaks, structural integrity issues.

Launching a rocket is a very precise and delicate thing.

2.) Yes i know they dont store their nukes in one place.... however we have satellite observation and have people scouring russia night and day.....

And Russia doesn't have people in the USA *rolls eyes*

3.)

How do you know that? And under that theory you would not be able to stop theirs either

are you not getting what i am saying...

1.) Russia may have spies here .. sure.. but its not as good as having NEW satellite images every single day ... we can even reroute the satelite course to make it constantly view one certain area.  A russian spy is hardly as useful.

2.) Just because Russia has a stealth plane.... how is that gonna stop our stealth planes from bombing their nuke silos?  A stealth plane has no more advantage to attack another stealth plane than a normal plane does.

3.)  We dont need to stop their stealth planes from trying to bomb our silos because:

a.) They dont have the refueling technology that we have for such a long trip.

b.) Our Silos are nuke proof... so trying to bomb our silos is pointless

So in conclusion i would say that Russia would not send stealth bombers to our country because it would just be a waste of time.

Well, spies can be extremely useful if they know how to play the game well. Sabotage, misinformation, and even assassination are other tools besides mere information gathering. That, and spies also work to counter the efforts made by enemy information gathering agences; they find out what the enemy finds out. A satellite can take pictures, it could even watch a section of the enemy's nation in real-time, full-3D for days at a time. But, in the end, human beings have to pick up the line somewhere. Spies are flexible. Spies can be independent.

but human spies are pure human... aka flawed and lazy.

the satellites, predator/observation drones, and E-planes will always get the job done day in and day out.

Ok Captain America...err Gunwounds, the Russian's have satellites they can use to photograph USA aswell, finding all their nukes would be impossible and they still have enough to wipe out America, they could send a stealth plane to nuke USA, and they do have refuelling technology! Do you still get Cold War era propaganda in USA, or do you believe Hitler that the Russian's are a sub-human race?

There are advantages and disadvantages to both mechanical survaillance and human espionage: the gist of it is that a spy can read a document whereas a satellite can't, but a satellite can see a whole country and its forces, while a single human can't.  It depends what you want to do.

Oh my...the words "quality' and "predator" in the same sentence had me laughing for a hilariously long amount of time.  When they were testing those, they crashed several times, and besides they aren't long range enough to cover all of Russia.

Missed this bit...hahahahahahahaha USA is relying on the Soyez Russian/Soviet launch system, which is much cheaper than the Shuttle!

are you crazy man?

Well I boubt they make them out of Iron, which would fall apart, and as Iron is the only metal that can rust...

Newt ANY metal that oxidizes rusts, rust is just what we call iron when it oxidizes (iron oxide) if what you said was true the fenders on my 1977 4X4 would be in perfect shape and I would not have to grind on them for hours to remove all that annoying oxidization.

what cracks me up is when people say that since you have nukes that means you are automatically a superpower comparable to a nation like the US. First of all most of their nukes arent even armed. Many cannot even be fixed and they cant afford to repair them. THere are still many nukes in russia dont get me wrong, but their military is crap now, and their air force is all but nothing. I mean they get something like 10 times less time flying than american pilots and have to fly in 15 to 20 year old flight simulators. Their planes are mostly out of service and they are just nowhere near the power that china is at. I dont know what your love is with russia, but it is rather silly. It sounds like one of those kids that talk about military weapons and equipment all day with others and constantly quote things from shows of the History Channel.lol
