but i still couldn't find the serial number in the cd's file or even behind the box

Take it back to the retailer and ask for a new case, as for telling you my serial # - you could have just downloaded the game and posted this thread to cheat the system for all we know. Well here's news for you: too bad! If you did buy it, then sorry.

Whitechocalate must think we're as dumb as the new Star Wars title. Maybe you have a knock off of the game like MoiDib said see if you can get a new case for the game.

Well it isn't as bizarre as it sounds. I am in the same boat here. I bought the game today and the white space on the back of the manual has been left blank. Basically those dumb shits at EA didn't even print the serial!

Great, sure, I could take it back tomorrow. Doesn't help me tonight though.... Been waiting to play this game for ages GRR!!

Aaaah I found the serial on a web page!

OBVIOUSLY I DONT WANT TO HELP PIRACY so---> I will only give the URL not the serial.. I will also only help people who can tell me the LAST word on PAGE 17 of the manual.

This serial number thing is SO STUPID! It's just another stupid thing to mess us around and waste time. I mean, if someone really wants to copy the game, he/she will be able to do it. Anything's possible on the internet. Bugsquish got the game legally and got his missing serial number. If someone didn't want to buy the game, he/she could also get the serial number somehow.

My game never came with a serial number either and since I ordered it online I didn't want to have to send it back, would probably end up costing me way too much. I just asked WW for one and they gave it too me, although I am sure that isn't their normal practice.

Interestingly enough, I can't play Emperor on the internet. I have registered and everything, but when I try to join it says "unknown serial number". Anybody have any suggestions? I did buy the game.

No, but I don't really care. Africa's connection to the rest of the world is not so good, and there aren't that many good South African players out there (check the top ten rankings for South African players - the last time I checked the SA rankings were a bit bad).
