Joe Schmo Show 2 (Jonathan Torrens!?!?)

Well another season is starting tonight. And Jono is a cast member. This will be fun to watch.

For Jono's cast thing:

Gerald is the guy that seems to be in denial over his sexual orientation. He's good with the ladies, but is it for a completely different reason than what he likes to think. Is Gerald ignoring the signs of his of his sexual orientation? He's nicely groomed and in touch with his feelings. Could he be repressing what his heart truly desires? Or is he just "in touch" with his feminine side?

I enjoyed the first show.

J-Roc should rock!

Sadly I only saw the first 2 episodes of TPB this season. :'(

yay! ralph is on it (for thsoe wh odon't know, ralph is on Kevin and Bean on KROQ in LA)

"The Pompous British Host" - Derek Newcastle

Derek was the host of the original British version of "Last Chance for Love." He's now "crossed the pond" to host this American version and hopefully earn the respect his countrymen obviously wouldn't give him. A pompous, self-absorbed Brit, he's given to name-dropping about any British superstar with whom he's rubbed elbows, particularly if their name starts with 'Sir' or 'Dame.'

Derek is portrayed by Ralph Garman. Garman is the only returning cast member from the original "Schmo." Garman has an extensive career in both television and radio, and is currently the comedic part of Los Angeles' top radio station's morning show, KROQ. He's also provided various voices for the Fox animated comedy "Family Guy," had appearances on "NYPD Blue," and a recurring role on the soap opera, "Days of Our Lives."

I'm surprised they cast him, I'da thought he'd be a bit too well known for this show.  Guy must not be from near the Canadian border.

I liked Street Cents when it was just the original three of them.  I stopped watching for a while, and next thing I new there were all these younger hosts running all over the set and stuff.  If you ask me, I say Jono is FIT FOR THE PIT!

(heh heh heh, I had to say that)

Fit for the pit, I forgot about that.

Once they started changing the people every year and had about 6 different people on at once I stopped watching it.

What's your beef?

Joe Schmo was good, girls are still hot, although last seasons were your perfect "betty and veronica" woman.

Next episode looks good, especially with the bird screwing up.

Jono was funnier in Trailer Park Boys.  It was wierd seeing him go from what was probably the blandest talk show in existence on the already bland CBC to a Showcase show that makes Jerry Springer look like functional family material.  Especially considering his character on the show...

yanomesayin? yanomesayin? yanomesayin? yanomesayin?

If you get the 1/2 season DVD and watch the takeouts, you hear J-Roc say that about 30 times in a row for a part. All different.

DVD's are good to watch.

Gotta get 3rd season :P

I hate how they cut out Ricky's little girl friend Treena after season 1/2. She was awesome.

(Mr. Lahey's daughter.)

omg!!
