Nooooooooooo!

I was up till 1:30AM and it looked like they would easily get it.

But then they lost a lot of seats. :(

And this was when Jack Layton was on and stuff talking about coalition with Liberals.

They could easily get the "other" guy to join their coalition and get the 155.

And yes they do teach math on PEI, but we have the worst mental math in Canada, so we use calculators.

I dunno, it'll be tough for the Libs to get the lone independant to vote with them, especially if the ally with the NDP.  He was a conservative that was kicked out of the party because they doubted his ability to win, so he ran as an independant.  He says he'll represent the interests of his riding on an issue-to-issue basis, and would consult his constituency before forming any kind of political alliance, but it's pretty safe to say he's more conservative than NDP, and if the Liberals ally with the NDP, he's more Conservative than Liberal.

And as usual the Bloc is a bunch of opportunistic back-scratchers...

Yada yada yada...

These parties are so close to each other that you generally hardly vote for anything anyway, except wether they go alot more right, just a little, or stay calm... This is my impression, and frankly I'd like to know how much money business put in the hands of rightish parties versus leftish ones. Just curious. I would also be curious to know whar is the time allocation given by medias. :-X

Government employees do very litle work for the amount of money they are payed.

Work for 3 hours get payed for 12.

But that is where I plan on working in the next couple of years. ;D

Did you know the Government workers want to go on strike for higher wages across canada?

They get payed the same amount of money across Canada, but in reality because of the cost of living, Maritimers are making a lot more than people in Ontairio.

They couldn't before the election (becuase you cant go on strike during election), but they probably will sometime soon.

BQ I assume to mean Bloc Quebecois? What exactly is NDP?

Yes, you can seriously claim to be 4 party wothout the inverted commas.

Here in the UK, we've effectively 3-party, but we do have some Independents, as well as various others - the Scottish National Party, Plaid Cymru (Welsh), Sinn Fein, and the Unionist parties from Nothern Ireland (indeed, Major's 'conservative' government was at one stage actually a coalition with the Ulster Unionists, with a one seat majority). And UKIP and/or the BNP may soon join us.

I am just happy the CRAP party is not coming to power.

The Quibecois could vote for NDP instead of BQ though. It seemed BQ has some tie with CRAP.
