Funny Stories in the Workplace

heh, me and Vanguard were sharing some of our funny workplace tales. He was talking about his security job work, and some funny stuff that happened to him, and I talked about some good stories when I worked at a local grocery store.

do any of you guys have hilarous stories while at work? If so tell em! :)

Well, most of mine would involve swearing or other tabooed subjects.. ;)

We like to swear at work a lot, especially when things don't work. :P

Looking for a job right now, but volunteer work is another story...

Vacation Bible School 2003, I'm the gopher for the Co-Directors.  One calls in, says her son's been in a bike accident, and she's stuck at the emergency room.  The other calls and says her car broke down.

I turn to the person who leads the songs and ask," Who's in charge then?"

"You are," she goes.

"Why me," I ask," I'm just their gopher."

"You know more about how to run this place than the rest of us," she replies," All I do is sing and make little hand motions."

Then I sum up the catchphrase for the nightmare of an evening that follows "We're doomed".
