How do the users get ranked? (eg. from flea to mongoose) and what amount of posts do you have to get to achieve the rank???

It's somewhere in a thread can't remember where. Don't start posting multiple times in a row in a thread like you have been doing or your totals will be reset making the whole point of ranks moot. :)

I mean, if I put the smiley in a post with a grey background the smiley will have a grey background. Or if I put it in a post with red background it will have a red background. How do I do that?

You would have to set the transparency colour.
