(I'm newb at this game)

Getting seriously pissed off at this. Ok, i can't register a nick from ingame, so I go register one with "westwood shared internet components". I log in once to WOL, I'm where you select either "quick" or the other. All good. THen I get disced... ok np, login again. Bad password... can't register new login either. Can't use password recovery. Wtf went wrong? more importantly, how do I fix it??

I tried using this "xwiz" (ive understood its an alternative server, and that wol is pretty unstable?), but i can't find where I'm supposed to reg an account there? I tried to log in with my WOL account on xwis.. it said bad password too! Anyhow, please help this newb...

When you use the XWIS program to set the ISP addresses, there is no need to create an account.  You simply create a nick and password at the login menu within the game. If the nicks not already in use your in, as easy as that.  However, if the XWIS server is down you will get "Bad Password" message.  Failing getting onto XWIS try the other private servers mentioned, login as mentioned before.

Hope this helps

Activate the 'XWis' thing and click set, like Gun stated above this, and then go into E:BFD, and then log into westwood online like you normally would, except it is 'XWis'.

I truly wish I could play again, but my E:BFD doesn't work very well, probably corrupt. Maybe I should bring down to the boys at Tech Support. I'm just too much of a lazy git to do so.
