Because they altered it, that makes it fictional...Historical Fiction if you want to get technical. They put Americans in so it was not real. Americans did not make a fake sub and go steal another and get the code and such....all fiction....it was based off a real thing but not exactally.

It is a fiction that in claiming itself as a historical film presents itself as innacuracy and as ambiguity. Frankly I don't care whether you think it's merely fiction or not, the fact is that it's disrespectful of the English sailors who risked their lives to get hold of the enigma code.

Regardless of whether it's accurate or not, it's still a below-average film in my opinion.

Cool, World war I and II films are usually good.

I watched patton recently, it was so good  :)

Also i found out that Dr. Strangelove was by stanley kubrick, who just happens to rule, he did full metal jacket too.
