What do you think I should upgrade first?

I don't know whether to get new memory or a new processor.

I have an Athlon 1.2Ghz and 384mb SDRAM.  Any suggestions?

Well if you are working on the Generals Mod, then a cpu upgrade would be a good idea, assuming you already have a good graphics card. If you dont then look to upgrade the GPU first.

I have a Pentium III 600, with 128Mb RAM and a GeForce 4 MX 440, and it is able to run Generals (my son plays it) slowly, and is fine for EBFD, though I benefited most when I traded in the old TNT2 (32Mb GPU) for the GeForce 4.

You have to upgrade your memory along with the processor.

The newer motherboards use ddr memory...

Ok, thanks for the suggestions.  Generals runs fine at the moment its just when I have my 500 Paladin Tanks on the map in an 8 player it starts to ummmm stop. lol

I would go for a new motherboard and ram,cpu u can get later,depends on the money you can afford ::)and of course Graph card and so on... LOL.If the CPU does fit in a new board u can upgrade ure prosessor later.
