Why is it that some very good players always like to play with other very good players when playing against NOT very good players. Many times I have been waiting to start a game, choosing teams, and get lumped with someone about my level, or worse (:O) and paired up against two very good players ?

It is a totally one sided game. I can understand wanting to play with friends, but why do they HAVE to be on the same team ? Why can't they both take a newbie each and balance the game a bit ? Might help us learn how to play too, instead of teaching us how to succumb to a rush for the zillionth time (slight exaggeration !

I only said I dont like getting paired with a newbie against two ELITES (actually wrote "very good players" !). Otherwise I do not mind playing against total begginers. I look on it as an opportunity.

Don't really agree totally with what you say about splitting up teams isnt fair and about the elite who best babysits wins. We can muster up a few units, and get involved, we will not be total liabilites.

And tell me what you would get out of a game which is over in 2 mins with a rush ? If the teams are more balanced then it would be more fun, and would give the other newer players a chance to learn.

I play badminton, and its the same in that (like most sports), the better your fellow players, the quicker you will learn. I personally think a little bit of pride comes into it, where they just want to be playing with the best players they can, elites and elites, vs the not very best, just in case they might lose.

Still think its a bad thing.

Yes, I don't remember playing against/with you, but I would not mind either way, even if they were directed at me, critisims is one way of learning. Also, I like your honesty. But I still disagree.

1 to 1 training sessions are not the real deal, they teach you how to react against that one player time after time. Some information will enter the skull of that newer player, but a much better way would be to let us experience an actual game. Its like an acedemic education, its all good, but you dont have a clue what its like until you enter industry. Then you learn.

im not an elite.....but also not that noob, and i played a lot with the old good players, coz nobody kicks me, or do not let me in his host.

but some (realy just some, not all) like to play unfair games, what means, 2 elites, vs me + equal player or noob. and thats boring....for me, and for them, and in the end, the the noobs quitt maybe emp forever, and the elites dont have that fun, wich they can get with fairer games, and come than not that often online.....WE LOOSE PLAYERS GUYS.

but there r realy a lot of elites, wich play with and vs me in fair games, wich traines me, and with wich i can get sometimes a real conversation...:*lol*...i like it.

but its everytime abaut 2 persons...so they have to help me, but i have to listen what they say, and think abaut it. and try to work with them together, and yeahhh...some new guys dont do this.

i know.

SO ELITES: PLZ PLAY FAIRER GAMES

AND NOOBS: PLZ LISTEN WHAT THEY SAY....but dont believe all...*lol*

If two elites rush to newer or weaker players they learn very little except how to die coz theres no time to do anything else.

Just kicking people without saying why is just plain annoying and frustrating. manners cost nothing.

If you think the teams are unbalanced the say so. i often ally with someone not coz their good but because i know them.

i'll play with anyone but then again i'm not elite so maybe that's why.

that is totally false... nobody does that crap.... nobody rushes noobs and wipes them off the map...

thats not true at all....

Let me give you an example...

Well, presenting your opinion as common sense is not going to make me change my mind, so lets stop that straight away.

"If two elites rush to newer or weaker players they learn very little except how to die coz theres no time to do anything else."

People do do that, those are the very one sided matches that I am talking about. Maybe you have not seen things from this side for so long and have been kicking newbs(maybe you have or haven't but you say thats how you deal with them) that you do not realise.

Then only thing I am talking about is the flexability to choose teams that give a game the best chance of going either way, that I think is done by choosing the fairest most balanced teams. It doesnt have to happen that way, if everyone agrees, it can be two elite players vs one newbie (by the way, I did that for a laugh, guess who won

well if you were wiped off the map then you were playing some jerks....

Every elite player i know and myself included do not butcher up noobs.

... you asked a question.... and then i answered it.... and i know most of these guys for 3 years... (the good players that is) and so i can speak for most of them...and i can say that they feel the same way i do ...

but i would like to note that you answered your own question yourself in this post when you said....

I can understand wanting to play with friends

and you said this....

I think some of the much better players need to take more responsibility in making games fairer online.

why is it their responsibility ? .... its just a game.... if they want to play with their friends then let them.... stop trying to make people feel bad or guilty. let them play with their friends if they want to .... it really gets on my nerves when the host of the room selects teams and then the other people whine and complain about it...

how about improving yourself so that people want you on their team.... thats a good idea huh ?
