Excellent Ordos. I wish more people would post there thoughts though :P It's a good message, and writing wise... I like how you included enough detail despite the relatively abrupt end.

Finally wormed my way out of PRP for long enough to respond...

Though I'm not really sure what to respond with. It's clearly favouring quality over quantity (and who can say that's a bad thing? Personally I think the impact would have been weakened if it had been too long) and like many as such it's thought-provoking.

I like how the story seems to end very abruptly.  This mimics, in a way, the abruptness of the end for the two men.

The ending was sobering.  It's sad how we so easily forget about these things.  How they just seem to come and go through our TV sets and newspapers, and then most people go back to their own lives.
