Can anyone help me find the Veterancy thread?

I have searched these forums up and down.. but i cant find a post made a long long time ago ... that lists all the units.. and their bonuses at each veterancy level  i.e.  chevron 1,2,3

if anyone could find that thread.... whether it be in this forum or strategy and sticky  it i would appreciate it...  :)

yes !!! this is it.. this is an awesome thread that details all the units veterancy.. this needs to be stickied somewhere as all players need to know this info to become better players as they will understand their units better.

So here is my question...  is there something posted as to how much veterancy is gained by which action?  AKA, how many veterancy "points" are gained by killing which units?

bah, that's one thing i don't like in emperor. It's too hard for infantry to get experienced and too easy for the vehicles like the minotaurus. Also the mino doesn't give the unit who kills him enough experience... This experience system in Emperor should've been a li'l different IMO. It's way too hard for infantry to become elite.

i understand what u mean.... but i think it had to be done so that the game would not degenerate in an infantry war.

For instance they did not want someone to make 50 light infantry.. and then go rush a mino and kill it.... and without the current system .. that would be possible.

you see the mino will fire upon the first 5 men.. and then get promoted... with more armor and more firepower.. BUT it also gets a FREE

No. If you kill a level 0 unit, you'll get the same as when you kill a level 3 unit.

Would have been nice though.

(Maybe something a modder could test, put "Score = x" under one of these veterancy tags, and see if you then get more experience for killing that unit."
