new idea for books

I think that Kevin and Brian should write books regarding Houses. such as one book describe the story of House Harkonnne. from it's beginning til its end. And have one book for each house. that would have been cool :)

That would be hard to do. They would be like the Dune encyclopedia in order for it to work.

And they would have to make almost everything up. (bad thing?)

Not at all, lol, you can extrapolate plenty about the Tleilaxu, the Richese, and even a bunch of other houses given even just passing mention. Of course you'd have lots of room for creativity, lol.

the prequels did not tell about this. it would have been cool though with a book which described the harkonnen history from beginning till end.

It would be interesting, but I'm getting a little sick of buying all these new Dune books.  And the sad part is is that I have to, to keep my collection complete.  ;)

Personally, I like the idea, but I don't think Brian and Kevin J. have the creativity for it.  The DE's history entries were extremely well done, so let's just leave it at that.

well I would probably enjoy the DE more if I had the book, and not only the computer version. :(

I think the DE write only facts about the houses. I feel that it could have been done another way. A story from beginning till end.
