Visual Basic lessons

I have an idea for a game I'd like to make, and Anders tells me Visual Basic is the way to go (it's either that, or GameMaker).

Yes, I suspect I'll have to buy a book (and bug Anders a lot ;))for decent help with it.  But right now, I don't exactly have much money, as I make almost no money worth mentioning.

You definitely need to get a good book that can walk you through the basics though.

Please be careful when buying books!

Most programmings books are literally crap.

Make sure you buy a book which teaches you something...

Remember that I can probably teach you vb just as well as the book, and help in more specific ways.
