Duke 2000 onlining problem

I have registered my ID at westwood online and then tried to login to play over the internet but I get the following error:

E_FAIL to GETHelpURL [ gGameTicks=0 ]

Any ideas?

i have too same problem, but when i click register, game told me "cannot find registry program" but when i placed old name , i got problem  "CWC E_Fail_To GetHelpURL" [Ggame Ticks=1580649]

This usually happens when you don't have westwood chat. Try reinstalling, failing that you might have a pirated copy of dune, failing that use your cd as a coffee coaster.

i know how to fix that. i know where can be downloaded rtp patch, but u need put it on c:westwooddune2000patches run game and they shall fix, mean that install automatically 1.06 and wchat registry entries and game  probably be working, i had no cd in home,  i got downloaded game from nahoo.co.uk , patch got from  friend, and game working lol.  if someone have this prob, i can tell url where patch is

Yes, downloads are not currently working. Hopefully it will be fixed soon.
