molotov567
hey every one, i just installed emperor on my new computer and it was running fine until i made the "Model" folder and put the rules.txt in it. Now when i run it the splash screen pops up and then the program gives me a common page fault error. I tried removing the folder but it still won't start up. please help!!!! gryphon
what happends if you remove the rules.txt ?
Apollyon
Reinstall the game. What is the error precisely? Try downloading or extracting a clean copy of the rules file and playing the game with those.

Nyarlathotep
Check the computer specs required to run Generals on the back of the game box, from Generals.Aren't we talking about EBFD here (like stated in the first post :))If we are talking about EBFD, what happens in you lower the settings ? Espcially shadows, make sure that's disabled.
