  1. Look in your start menu under West wood, there should be an entry called Shared Internet Components. If it's not there, you didn't select it when you installed Imp. Run the install disk again and this time just install the shared internet components. Let us know how you made out.
  2. I really think that's a generic error, just means the drivers ant compatible, are you sure you used the SAME drivers? Drivers get updated and sometimes it is at the cost of old games.
  3. Alright, I've figured out the "solution" to the problem. Well, technically, I didn't but the poster of the other thread did. I forget his name, but it was the topic starter of the thread I linked to. By following his procedures, I am able to confirm the problem. It seems that the last Catalyst driver that does not mess up Emperor is indeed the 5.1 set. Any driver more recent than that causes the texture corruption detailed in this thread. By reverting back to such an old driver, I was able to properly play Emperor as it is meant to be played. Unfortunately, that also means that any newer games could have compatibility or performance issues. I have since reverted from the 5.1 set back to the Mobility Catalyst 5.8 drivers. Could someone sticky this on the Emperor support forum? I feel it could be useful for any AT users having similar issues as me. Thanks for the advice in this topic. The time was appreciated guys.
  4. Hi there, mi a fan of this game since it was released, and i recently tried out some of the changes available for download in this forum. but i wast really satisfied, for various reasons. Since i read most can be edited or changed, and i even saw some people here could modify even the campaign missions (! nice one^^ ) i wondered what exactly can u change and what cant be changed in the game.. because i thought of a list of changes for a new mod, but mi absolutely clueless on the modding in general.. so if there are any experts interested would be great.
  5. You been finding interesting results with the bytes immediately after the 8 house alloctaion bytes. Changing bytes 0x58-0x5B to 00 99 99 99 results in there being AI helping you, the AI moves units to attack enemy units (more than guard mode), repairs your base and will build units when it thinks it should. It however does not build any of the base. thanks
