  1. XBF is the unit art file format, right? Like the Voxels in RA2? In a few weeks ::) I'll start a field-test or something to see if TibEd 2 interface is any better for Emperor - it's in a very early stage. And I hope to have an 'easy' possibility to make a difference between veterancy editing and normal editing - because that's a big issue with TibEd (it puts keys in the wrong place for non-veterans).
  2. What do you think about unit/rules editors for Emperor? Do you want to make mods for Emperor? It's because I've been working on TibEd 2 for some time now, which is supposed to be an Emperor editor, but I'm not sure if anyone is waiting for this editor at all (mainly due to well... don't know). Would you use this editor if it were there? (not talking about the not-very-good-alpha available at this moment).
  3. I started working on a RA2 -> D2K conversion a long time ago. But I stopped after I had converted about 6 buildings. I still have them somewhere though. Do you need them?
  4. No laughing... but the one of the major reason I don't like it are the leeches. I am truly annoyed when a huge force is destroyed by them. Sure, I am doing something wrong, but their 'doubling' when they fire themselves on tanks is no fun. I have no problems with Terror drones (RA2) or anything, it's just that all my units are destroyed and they keep multiplying. I get so annoyed with those leeches that I stop playing sometimes. Just don't ask "Koen, why don't you edit the game?" because I don't cheat in campaigns. Honestly. I completed all campaigns in the C&C series without cheating. (except for the Covert Operations of C&C 1, which I never had). And I'm not sure if I beat all the Red Alert 1 Counterstrike missions. I hate leeches. ::) ::) ::)
  5. They'll probably do the same thing as with RA2: if a fan creates a very good map editor, they "take it over" as the official map editor, because "it is easier than our editor" etc.
  6. Well, I came here first April/May 2000 IIRC. I should have an account here... Maybe I should look it up ;)
  7. If I play Arrakis on my PII/233, it goes way to fast even if I say I have a PII/266 in setup. Isn't there a way to slow it down? I'm looking forward too Arrakis 2000! (Can I betatest?) Are you going to add something like the Rules.ini in Red Alert and Tiberian Sun? This would be really handy: You wouln't have to hard-code all the units!
