Inoculator9 Posted May 18, 2003 Posted May 18, 2003 Have you read the Quaran (thank you for the spelling :P)
Acriku Posted May 18, 2003 Author Posted May 18, 2003 If you're correct, he's doing a good job because Islam is rising while Christianity is falling.
GUNWOUNDS Posted May 18, 2003 Posted May 18, 2003 yes i have and there is something in the Quaran that the bible doesnt have.wanna know what that is??.There is a passage where Mohammed (ISLAMIC Prophet NOT a christian one) admits thats he was at one time influenced by Satan .. and that Satan caused him to write parts of the Quaran.Salmound Rushdie was the author who wrote a book about theses scriptures.. and the Title of the book was "Satanic Verses"This happened a long time ago and the Leader of Iran put a bounty on his head for exposing that.
Acriku Posted May 18, 2003 Author Posted May 18, 2003 Ah so the only difference is Mohammed admitting of his satanic influence and the gospels forgetting to mention their's ;) Well this topic certainly has gone downhill. If you want, I can lock it.
GUNWOUNDS Posted May 18, 2003 Posted May 18, 2003 What?... whats gone downhill? The fact that i am telling you something you didnt know?I am disappointed that you didnt know about this. I surely thought you would know .. since you are such a satan expert ;)Well I wasnt finished explaining everything but if you want to lock it all down then thats fine. But i must say... if your going to be an atheist.. atleast go do some reading and learn more about the choices you are or are NOT making. If your going to be an atheist .. atleast be an informed one
Acriku Posted May 18, 2003 Author Posted May 18, 2003 Going from explaining why I think Satan wasn't that bad of a guy (as opposed to his portrayal in the bible) to your reasons for believing in the Christian god and talking about how Satan influenced Mohammed in the Quran. I'd say that is offtopic, wouldn't you? And I don't care if it is locked or not, that's why I asked you.
Inoculator9 Posted May 18, 2003 Posted May 18, 2003 Acriku isn't sleeping with Satan. Satan isn't sponsoring all non Catholics. To site an example of the Gospel's "Satanic Influence."In the Gospel of John, John says that Jews killed Jesus. Where could he have gotten that from? Three reasons for this question:1) Jesus was Jewish.2) John was Jewish.3) Jesus was condemned by Romans and killed by Roman soldiers, and that is a fact.
GUNWOUNDS Posted May 18, 2003 Posted May 18, 2003 ok i wouldnt say this is offtopic.. i would say that this topic has evolved ;D ;)well my point is... that i have been able to find proof that all other gods and bibles were man made or had Satanic influences .. except for christianity. So i feel safe in my choice. I am not saying i am all-knowing.. or that i know the nature of things.. but you asked me why i chose what god i chose.. and i have told you.. so i guess this thread is over?? :'( :'( :'(
Acriku Posted May 18, 2003 Author Posted May 18, 2003 That's assuming all the religions and gods currently known includes the only true god(s)... We could all be wrong you know :) By the way, how do you know all other gods were man-made? And if you do reply to this, can you make another thread so we can try to save this one thanks :)
GUNWOUNDS Posted May 18, 2003 Posted May 18, 2003 Ahh my silly little incoulator.. you missed an important part of that story...Jesus WAS killed by Jews.. the ROMANS asked the JEWISH crowd which prisoner should be set free !!!.. JESUS or Some Raper-murderer-criminal whose name began with a B.The jewish crowd said that the criminal should go free. They said this because the pharissees sent out bribers into the crowd with bags of silver to bribe them to say to let the murderer free so that they could get jesus crucified.
Acriku Posted May 18, 2003 Author Posted May 18, 2003 Didn't Jesus want to die? Would he have let the Jews set him free, keeping him from dying for all of our sins?
GUNWOUNDS Posted May 18, 2003 Posted May 18, 2003 that and .... Judas HAD to betray jesus.... right?so judas should get off the hook too right ??... well i have thought of this alot...and in my opinion.. the Jews and Judas didnt have to betray jesus.... i am sure he would have found a way to die no matter what.
Inoculator9 Posted May 18, 2003 Posted May 18, 2003 Silly little my ass. Another two things:1) If Jews had truly killed Jesus, TRULY IN THE EYES OF GOD, had killed him, why were they still the Chosen People?2) Why did two popes nearly erase the verse the called Jews "Jesus Killers" from the bible? From several accounts, they threw fits when this verse was defended. Aren't popes infaliable or something? Before you ask, I don't remember which popes they were. I can't remember all of my 8th grade classes :P
GUNWOUNDS Posted May 18, 2003 Posted May 18, 2003 didnt i say catholics do not equal christianity??I do not believe in popes or bishops... or the catholic church.Catholics are viewed by many other christians as somewhat legalistic and distorted. We dont abide by the catholics rules and we certainly didnt accept any corrections in our bibles. And the Jews are Gods chosen poeple only by name and nothing else. It was just a name to show that he showed himself to a Jewish man first. And the only reason god showed favor to the jews in the begining of time and not the other races is because at that time only the jews believed in him and worshipped him.Now the Jews no longer have any special status over anyone else because now other races believe in Jehovah now too.....However since the Jews rejection of jesus as messiah they have burdened themselves with the Old testament law. Those of us who accepted jesus can now live by New Testament Law.
Inoculator9 Posted May 18, 2003 Posted May 18, 2003 Your Catholic - Christianity point is well taken. But, you would presume to know what God/Jehovah/Yahweh wants of you? How could you possibly know that that is the case?
GUNWOUNDS Posted May 18, 2003 Posted May 18, 2003 when did i say i knew what he wanted of me?What exactly did i say?
GUNWOUNDS Posted May 18, 2003 Posted May 18, 2003 that actually is a christian's quest in life.... to figure out what god wants of you.. or wants you to do.Thats the fun part... gotta figure out what he wants ;)
Inoculator9 Posted May 18, 2003 Posted May 18, 2003 You said the Jews were no longer the chosen people. How can you know that this is the case?
GUNWOUNDS Posted May 18, 2003 Posted May 18, 2003 i explained that already man.. you didnt read my post all the way.
GUNWOUNDS Posted May 18, 2003 Posted May 18, 2003 this is what i said previously"Now the Jews no longer have any special status over anyone else because now other races believe in Jehovah now too.....However since the Jews rejection of jesus as messiah they have burdened themselves with the Old testament law. Those of us who accepted jesus can now live by New Testament Law."
sneezer3 Posted May 18, 2003 Posted May 18, 2003 Silly little my ass. Another two things:1) If Jews had truly killed Jesus, TRULY IN THE EYES OF GOD, had killed him, why were they still the Chosen People?I don't know i guess i'l have to ask him some day. God see in infinite we don't see the whole picture. Maybe it has something to do with it was *just them* that rejected him. know way to know for sure.2) Why did two popes nearly erase the verse the called Jews "Jesus Killers" from the bible? From several accounts, they threw fits when this verse was defended. Aren't popes infaliable or something?I think i can do this without bashing the catholic church to much. The popes are thought to be infallable. The pope even isn't scriptural though. I heard a saying one time that kind of fits the bill. "The popes on dope and there ain't no hope!"Look up 2 Peter 1:20 for an example of what i'm saying. they want to "privitely interprete" the scriptures for you. but thats a whole other subject in itself.
GUNWOUNDS Posted May 18, 2003 Posted May 18, 2003 Christians and Jews believe in the same God Jehovah.. but the differences is that Jews dont accept Jesus's sacrifice and choose to live by the Old testament law...while Christians accept Jesus's sacrifice and choose to live by New Testament law.
