I've just installed Nox for the first time on this computer, and it seems I ran into some sort of video card (or maybe something else?) problem: Some 30 seconds into the game, my mouse cursor dissapears. Everything keeps going as it should, and the mouse cursor is still there and working properly, except that I can't see it.

Does anyone know what could be causing the problem? This is my system:

Processor: AMD Athlon XP 1700

Video card: ASUS V8170 GeForce 4, with 64 MB memory (64 video, 128 AGP)

Memory: 128 MB RAM (DDR)

- with Windows 98 Second Edition

Hmmm, I'll try using a mouse that connects to another port...

As for the video card, I'm using the drivers that it originally came with, from the CD included in the box. I suppose that's v1.00... Do you know where I could get newer ones?

Also, where can I get the 1.2 patch for Nox? It used to be up for download from Westwood, but now that WW is gone...

Well, I tried switching to a PS2 mouse. Nothing changed. I tried patching the game. Nothing changed. So that leaves only one possible reason for the bug: the video card drivers. I'll update them and see if it works this time...

Btw, thanks for the links! :)

You helped as well Gryphon. It does not matter who comes up with the solution it is the willingness to help that matters most in the tech support forum. Good job Gryphon.
