Formal Request:

Make a mod of one of the risk games or risk clone games into Dune Jihad. Or make a game like Dune Jihad that is multiplayer capable.

It would be good and different from an RTS.

It cant be that hard :) (compared to 3d games with massive worlds and units)

I was thinking of making a mod for cnc Generals of the Butlerian Jihad, as I just read the book again. Does anyone think that there would be interest in that?

It could be cool, I wouldnt be able to work on it, other than give ideas, cause I dont have the game and I dont have the money to pay for it monthly.

it's not very expensive because it's not very new and there are no monthly fees. i'm not sure exactly how to give it a total dune feeling, but the game has great support for mods. it's just an idea, if i had more free time i would consider it more

i'm 200% positive there are no fees. i would know, i play it all the time. it wouldnt nearly be as popular as it is if there were fees

ok, cool. I thought that they made you pay a montly fee, so I have never played it. I will have to go out and get it now ;D

download a demo. that's what i did. after playing the multiplayer demo for 3 minutes, i decided to run out and buy it.

oh and a good net connection is pretty key to enjoying this game. there's really no point in getting it for single player. you can play with bots but they are pretty stupid. multiplayer is extremely fun though
