I wanted to reply sooner, but I'm halfway through my thesis for uni and I have been doing that..

To be fair it was only a half daydream.. like "what if....?" I don't really believe it as such, I just wondered what everyone on here would make of my thoughts because I thought it was kinda interesting.. I didn't expect everyone to start yelling!! Sorry!

I meant apes.. sorry... but if you believe in evolution then that is what humans evolved from. Personally I believe in it in so far as it actually ties in with what most religions explain as creation.. the things happened in the same order according to Darwin as according to the Bible.. just in a different timescale. And who are we to decide a day for God is the same length as a day for humans.. it may well be 60 million years or whatever. In which case.. in some respects it is fair to say humans evolved from apes. I am not asking anyone to believe that if they don't.. it's just how I see it.

How did they land here?

Well.. I guess if I am talking about "rich clever aliens" or whatever I called them.. they would have been advanced enough to be able to that with the correct protective clothing (probably made of material that dont even exist on earth before anyone picks on that!!! lol) and what did they land on? Maybe their space craft was built to handle situations such as this.. maybe it could hover?

I mean.. that sounds stupid.. but when I was really only speculating anyway about that part.. I can't say HOW they did it.. because I wasn't there and I do not understand technology that hasn't even been introduced yet... but I was presuming it would exist.

I dunno.. this was just a random thought.. I cant explain it. I thought I could.. I cant. I still think I could if I was chatting about it in person or something.. but it's not really something I want to chat about now because i think that some people will just be waiting for me to trip myself up so it feels more like an assignment..... and believe me I have enough of those right now..

So yeah.. please dont argue about it.. and thanks for trying to stick up for me TMA, but don't worry.. no offence was taken. Don't get yourself into trouble on my account, I'll certainly say so if anyone offends me!

One of the main problems is. Were did the aliens come from? If its a branch off either the Big Bang or evolution then there isn't any answer for that. because they would have had to come about way way faster then humens.

Not a bad compromise though. your more scientific then most people i've seen.

Indeed, even though the monkey part is a common misconception, we did technically come from primates (the origin of us and the monkeys was still a primate).

I wasn't trying to argue with you, just trying to get a clear understanding about your "half daydream," as you put it :) TMA has no reason to stick up for you.
