I just used paint to make all of this picture and used paint shop pro 7 to blur it a bit to take away sharp edges. It is kinda abstract because it just doesnt fit in with actually physically stairing into a fremen's eyes. oh well. hehe[attachment archived by Gobalopper]

I always pictured the eyes of a desert fremen to be dark, nay blue. Compltly. No iris, no pupil, jsut deep, navy blue.

I like it. It reminds me of that Illuminati/Freemason symbol thing on the American $1 bill. Very mysterious.

To be honest, I don't get the background, either. It's still neat, though.

yeah I just remember the blue within blue part. your idea sounds really cool (kinda creepy looking though. hehe) , and you are most correct that it is darker because of the protection the adapted eyes have to the sun.

I don't know if it's the way Herbert intended it, I don't remmber real well his description of the eyes, it's just the way I always pictured them (and, yes, it would be real creepy, which to me makes it even better).

Ill have to agree with you on that mahdi. it would be freaking cool.lol

I said in my post that it was weird! what do you want from me vanguard? ;) hehe thanks for the compliments. :)

Lol (err, I mean QIL). I didn't say it sucked, I'm just saying it's wierd. Nothing wrong with that.

I alwasy pictured the eyes as being fairly uniform blue, but you could still see the pupils. The Guild agents' eyes were almost black because of their addictions, so I never really pictured the Fremen eyes as being totally matte.
