Miles: your cause? The US doesn't have any shred of evidence that Sadam was linked in any terrorist activity against the US ever since the failed assasination on Bush senior. If you're talking about terrorism against Isael, you may be right. But I don't see Israel at the head of this illegal war. For your information, Israel does not consist of cowards that are completely unable or unwilling to defend themselves against Sadam, demonstrated several times, like when they bombed an Iraqi nuclear power plant. If that's not what you meant, sorry, but you had no argument to begin with.

Actually the US does have evidence Earthnuker you just won't believe it. Powell mentioned in one of his many presentations to the UN that Iraq was harbouring terrorists, I think they were called Ansar al-Islam, somewhere in the northern regions.

There have also been links made by people outside the gov't to the TWA flight 800 that was shot down in 1996. The Islamic Change Movement claimed responsibility for the attack and this article talks about that possibility. The group has ties to Iraq according to the book "The War Against America" by Laurie Mylroie. That same book also links the first World Trade Center bombing to Iraq.

You may not believe it but there are very good possibilities of ties between Iraq and terrorism.
