Speech of bush:

... and the war will last longer than expected

.. and we are not after the oil, the oil is of the iraqi people ...... by the way stop burning those oilfields :P

Bush is just as evil as Saddam is, just like a true President he uses 'propaganda' and sweet words to try and persuade the other people in believing that they are liberating the country.

Yeah, and let me guess. When they so called 'liberated' the country, you see trucks with the sign 'American Oil Transport' and oil refinery's with the sign 'America's new Oil gold mine'

And I just know I get some comment from a bush lover from this post.

Okay, let's look at it from a different perspective.

It's either NK or Iraq, try to stop a country who has a few or a country who has a lot.

Now tell me, what's so im-moral about getting oil? (THOUGH ITS NOT WHAT THE WARS ABOUT)

I mean really people, so what if we take over a country, set up a better and newer form of goverment, and get more oil? What's the issue with that?

The Oil doesn't belong to the Americans, they belong to the people of Iraq.

If they are going to invade the country, they better the invasion a breed of Liberation/Occupation of land.

But still, maybe the Americans aren't interested in the Oil, or maybe they are interested in the Oil. We'll see.....

But the chances are high that they will takeover the oil in the land.

And if that happens, the hatred for the American people and goverment ine the world will only increase with the second.

they ARE interested in the oil,if not why dont they attack North Korea which supposedly has nukes/other banned missiles and harbour terrorist too,its because theres no oil to take there!

Oil may be an interest, but it wouldn't be the deciding factor to go to war. Also, we must do this one country at a time. We will focus on N. Korea after Iraq.

Well by then, Bush will be out of office ;) *crosses fingers*

But seriously, Bush or any president would need congress approval, also it would be suicide going into war against a country with no international support as we do have now (but not totally) and any president would know that, and once the congress or house of reps see this happening they can, with the people's proval as well, vote to impeach. And then the president will be tried to see if he should be taken out.

Low your comments are sad, and truley mis-informed. If America was ever planning to take over the world then wouldn't the collapse of the Soviet union be a good time? Or attack Russia in the cold war before they had nukes and get the weaker NATO countries to join in, take out Russia then move for the world?

America is not trying to take over the world. Any other consideration is utterly pathetic. Now to dress the North Korea stand off. Iraq has a few weapons, but Korea has more no doubt. America should take out the other country before it poses and a threat then deal with the other one.

And besides, last time I checked America wasn't starting anything with Korea, but Korea starting something with the USA. Further more, we are trying to resolve the North Korean stand-off by using diplomatic powers. Last time I checked Low, diplomatic powers had nothing to deal with world domination or military force.

If America took over Russian after the World War II, then there would be no Cold War, and then wars as a consequent of this war would not exist, and so on. So it might've been a good idea ;)

It's very hard to control Russia in WW2, the country is so huge you can't possibly control the whole country.

Even if Hitler won WW2, it'll be very hard for him to keep control of the whole world. There will be so much resistance and so many rebels, Germany can't possibly keep control of the stability of the countries.

And second, the previous presidents of the USA is less worse compared to Bush.

If we still had Abraham Licoln or Clinton. America will be much better, I'm happy if the Americans can conquer Iraq with keeping casualties of both sides to a minimum. And if they want the oil or act like a political hitler that make threats to countries like a policeman in a crime street then they go ahead.

Sardaukar Kirov-- The people of Iraq are not reaping the benefits of their oil. Because of Saddam Hussein, they cannot profit as they should from exporting because of UN sanctions. He has stolen the money from his people to pay for his own ambitions. The oil for food program has invariably gone to Saddam Hussein and the military. After the war, we will take a percentage, mostly to pay for the war, that is only fair, but we will hand control of the oil over to the Iraqis because, after that, it IS their oil.

To others; It is always funny to see those of you that support us when we are helping your cause, then spit on us when we fight for our own cause. You accept our charity, then curse us when you disagree. Don't get me wrong, I think it is fine to disagree with us, but yours passes to hatred. You are intimidated by a country that because of our ideals and values has become the most powerful and will fight for what is moral, even in the face of those who would see other tortured and murdered.

Fortunately, we will have the opportunity to see if the Iraqis live better after or before the war since it will be over within a month. Then you who say we will oppress and murder to control the oil will look idiotic. Just as the naysayers of the Afghan, and Bosnian wars did.

We will focus on N. Korea after Iraq.

Bush will do nothing in N Korea or he will get nuked.

This country has "real" nukes, not invisible 1 like in iraq

He will focus Iran after Iraq

Will he? I doubt he will, unless it is the best course of action in that situation. Remember, his term is almost up - so it's likely the next president (hopefully not Bush again...) will deal with N. Korea.
