QuickTime has a specialized text track, and caption track. Although it involves you, yourself, adding it.

I don't have a clue to what you are refering. .. You have a digital version of a movie that displays subtitles .. now you're wondering if that is a standard feature or not ?

I'm probably totally wrong, although I can't find anything else you could mean. :-

you mean subtitles in Emperor right? Well, there are no subtitles, at least... if that is what you mean

well Flameweaver answered my question. Im talkin about SUBTITLES. yanno, were the small words show wat their sayin.

no, unfortunately it doesn't have any subtitles. I agree that it's not a bad idea to put that in games. It makes it a tad easier for people who cannot speak english 100% well and have trouble understanding everything they say

Well the dialogue in Emperor is nothing to write home about and I personally dislike subtitles. If it is a foriegn movie I would rather it have the voices dubbed than reading text for 2 hours. Sort of takes the fun out of watching a movie for me.

ehm, you don't HAVE to read the subtitles, and you can always turn the subtitles off ofcourse :-
