where is it? its here right now. it IS in the polar ice caps and oceans. 326 million cubic miles of it! enough to cover the earht up to 8500 feet. you're confusing me man.

Polar ice caps melting will have almost no effect on sea levels - most of the ice is already in the water. It's the heating up of the sea, and the expansion of the water therein which causes the flood.

At the time of the flood, geological records show that in certain areas of the near to middle east, there was a large flooding. This is most probably what is being described.

you may be right, Nema.

There was recent finds of a barn at the bottom of the black sea! an amazing archaelogical discovery even making national media.

but when I say polar ice caps, I am also referring to antarctica which has a volume of water that is nothing to laugh at!

The formation of the Black Sea was gradual, not at all evidence of a global flood.

About the Antarctic, if all of the ice melted, it still would not be enough - and even if it did, did it magically go back to the south pole and freeze up again? Come on emprworm, you're becoming desperate.

impossible! if there is a barn there with segments in tact, that would suggest flooding. no, that would mandate flooding

First of all, post this found "barn" link or something so that I know you aren't just pulling it out of your end.

Second, the formation of the Black Sea does not correlate with the Noah's flood. http://www.glenn.morton.btinternet.co.uk/bseaflod.htm tells more. You don't have to read it all, just a few paragraphs to get the point.

But...I did it for you. http://www.cavalierdaily.com/CVArticle.asp?ID=5471&pid=616

The reason it is intact is because beyond 100 feet, any organism that would feed off of, or disturb, the barn-like house can't live in the anaerobic conditions. This does not suggest a flood.

But, there is still the possibility of a local flood that happened around 7000-7500 years ago, as well as the possibility of a gradual rise of water. Being more than 2 years old, this article does not include answers found, so I will look for such.

There is yet any evidence of a global flood.

not true acriku, they have found entire cities all over the world, (many in south america) that are deep under water. they are so intact and not near enough to coninental plates to say that the land sank or anything of that sort. they are just stuck there way under water.lol

So what was the point of me researching it lol, oh well. I learned something atleast.

well if i interpreted Nema right, he was bringing up the lesser held theological position that NOahs flood was a regional flood, not a global one.

lets get this topic going again i think ack is right about the things he is saying, who can prove anything about the bible, there was some burning bushes and some loud voices heard, but who has really seen god who has really had a peice of his shroud to say that this is his who.... u know what. i could write a book publish it, get a messiah and let him roam the land talking about some kind of religion and guess what people are gonna belive not because its right but becuase people have to believe something so they can move on with life, i am not saying the bible isnt real and the people in it arnt real but just because one guy died for everyone supposodly that makes God the almighty powerful being. and there was no damn flood, unless noah was around when the dinasours came, cuz dont u think about science and religion togheter, when did we have the ice age> then all of a sudden it un froze, ? what happend to all the indians and mexicans> what about everyone else, was noah alive before the dinasours are something did he bring a damn tyranasouras rex on the ark? well explain your thoughts emp and tma, becaue i really agree with ack on this one
