I wrote this poem recently, but no lady yet to give it too! :(

As the setting sun fades to night

Of golden skies and starry light

Like gentle meadows upon crumbling hills

Just like these your smile is beautiful

ok, I know its all mushy, but hey, thats just the sensitive kind of guy I am! ;) (he he, yea right!)

I wrote :

The trees blowing in the wind, escape Arrakis

The rainshowers of spring keep the animals under the rocks,

The fish surrounding the pillars of the docks

The birds overhead shouting at the birds underhead, escape Arrakis.

Come Arrakis.

The trees crumble into sand, blown by the wind

The rainshowers evaporate in the sky,

The fish gasps and replenishes the ground where it lie

The birds fall down disappearing into the sand.

Come Arrakis.

She will sing to herself

the most beautiful dirges

and never wear white

to hide her own urges

While I, I look at the sky

not a word for my broken pride

Ever felt the wind from the moonlight?

she said behind my shoulder

the hug half asked

made me release a shutter

while all the while, I looked at bad signs

and to think,not a moment goes by

I think I am shy

but unsure of the reasons

she tells me why

but her words are fleeting

these bad signs under my sky

make me think of my broken pride

where I lay down and cry

Life to Death

along the broad roads and avenues

Filled full of cold mist that floats and fades

I view diamond thaw glazed over

with the evening breeze of nightshade

with a fear that words might break

the tender glass made of snow

Feathers of white water covers trees and streets

while a streetlamp makes the glossy frost glow

Flowers crystalize and wither

as ice will melt to dew

death begets death

but life refreshes anew

This needs to be in fan fic.......now........er

good poems though :)

fan fic is mostly the literature section of the site i guess.

Hmm, interesting. I'll can't think up one right at this moment, so I might post later, if I have the time to think of one. Nice poems btw. :)
