do mods work for other games?

I know how to create mods on emperor and am interested in mods for other games.is there a website that provides mod files for many games?

There aren't many sites that provide modding info and files for more then two or three games. For diverse mods you should do a search at ask jeeves or google.

and I dont mean a site full of mods itself, more a comunity site for modders for modding tutorials and as a resource etc.
