Cant get online with Generals ? plz help me

Go to "options" in generals and use the HTTP proxy of your internet provider to allow you to get online.

You also need to put the port number in the proxy that you are using ( 8080 in my case )

So you were able to connect with the proxy apollyon for creating a new account??

The system looked for updates,loaded and applied the patches automatically and afterwards when you create an account it said could not connect to ea servers???

Sorry, but I don't have the game so I can't help with the in-game settings. Did you talk with your ISP's tech support to make sure you had the correct name for the proxy server and port number?

well, no, but it works up until you try to create a new account... the proxy is correct, I'm sure of it.

Can I create an account using gamespy arcade, anyone?

If you have an gamespy or Fileplanet account, use that one to login to Generals. If you already have a Gamespy account, it won't let you create a new one, unless you provide another e-mail address.
