Caid Ivik
In september 1938 Czechoslovakia mobilised 127000-men army! More than one and quarter million men army! If our government wasn't so scared as many todays nations are (also if it wasn't digged by nationalists), we could capture Berlin in a month! At least if we shouldn't accept the Munich Treaty. If we were attacked, our fortress system on german borders was enough powerful to halt Germans for at least 2 months. Czechoslovakia had modern forces with tanks (Skoda model 38 became standard tank of Wehrmacht when they have captured Czechs in 15th march 1939) and many planes (fighters obsolete, but bombers based on best of USSR and France, succesfuly shown in Spain). I don't think if the conflict came in THAT time, France and Britain would wait. Or USSR, which was then our ally too. Of course, best way it could be, if they had captured whole Germany quickly when they had dismissed Versailles Treaty.Iraq is same for Middle East as Germany was for Europe in late 1930's. Just there isn't enough powerful native force to guard him.
