How do you harvest?

this is also a long shot but there is a stage that if you play it more than once it runs th stage will not replenish its spice. the first time you play it you may have harvested all the spice on the stage. then if you have to defend that stage youll have to defend it or everytime you play the stage thereafter you only have the money you start with. this is a few stages into the game though. just a thought.

It might be better to just reinstall the game and try again. If that dont work, you might have a virus.

Forgive me, i'm a newb. But how do you give the harvester the command to harvest? All it does is sit there. This is in single player mode. Haven't tried multiplayer yet. I can't get past a mission cuz i can't get any spice.

Things i've tried:

1. Nothing, tried to see if it would start to harvest on its own.

2. Select the harvester and then click on the spice field when the cursor turns to a red crosshair. The harvester goes to the spice field and doesn't move.

3. Select the harvester and then click on the building that it's supposed to drop off the the spice at. The harvester goes to the building and sits on the pad and never moves.

am i missing something here? i would think that all three of those would work, but none do.

when i first got the game and was playing single player i got to one of the missions and my harvs wouldnt harvest. it was only one mission though the rest were fine. this guy is having the same exact problem as me.

I just started playing multiplayer instead.
