Nyarlathotep Posted December 11, 2001 Author Posted December 11, 2001 Radar, could you provide me with your case reference number from WW ?You may reply here or on my e-mail address:Respect_30@hotmail.comNyar...
Nyarlathotep Posted December 11, 2001 Author Posted December 11, 2001 Tell me if I'm wrong, but Eclipse just delivers complete systems and not videocards ? If so, We still need to determine who your videocard manufacturer is...Nyar...btw, could you also answer the question about McAfee and if any recent changes have been made to your system (concerning the big change in your virtual memory) ?Nyar...[This message has been edited by Nyarlathotep (edited 12-11-2001).]

Nyarlathotep Posted December 12, 2001 Author Posted December 12, 2001 Ok. You may already do this, but just to make sure, you do close this when you try to run EBFD right ?Another thing, I know your comp is an Eclipse, but were you able to figure out what brand your videocard is ? If not, tell me what type of Eclipse comp you have...Nyar...

Nyarlathotep Posted December 13, 2001 Author Posted December 13, 2001 HighBones, are you using an onboard videocard ? If so, are you able to try and put in an videocard in a free slot ?Nyar...
Guest Radar Posted December 13, 2001 Posted December 13, 2001 My videocard is Eclipse (that's at least what it says on the box). My computer is a Genuine Intel or Intelligence Intel.
Nyarlathotep Posted December 13, 2001 Author Posted December 13, 2001 Radar, Eclipse builds the computer from other manufacturers components, meaning, processor from Intel, soundcard from Soundblaster, videocard from Kyro/Asus/Pyne/or whatever...In the output from your e-report, it states:CPU InfoCPU Count : 1CPU Type : 350 MHz GenuineIntel Pentium II/Xeon6 5 2It just means that you have an Intel processor, nothing more, nothing less...Look here, you'll understand my confusion:http://www.eclipse-computers.com/system/system.htmI hope this clarifies things a bit...Nyar...
Nyarlathotep Posted December 13, 2001 Author Posted December 13, 2001 Vladimir, HighBones, any feedback ?Nyar...

Guest HighBones Posted December 14, 2001 Posted December 14, 2001 Hey Nyar, sorry for the delay, work always gets in the way...I am using the onboard video, and I don't have a spare card, I'd rather not buy a new one just yet, but if I have to I will. I'm in the process of getting new drivers for both sound and video at the moment. The game has given me grief from go. No word back from WW yet.BTW, I'll b away for a couple weeks from Monday.HighBones
