Problem playing on lcd monitor - help

I've got a new monitor. When i treid to run dune 2000 it comes up with input not supported. Is there a way to change resolution and how to do it? or is there a patch for it?

No, unfortunelaty you can only play on a resolution of 640x480. The only graphic setting is to play on 8-bits or 16-bits colors :-

Just upgraded my monitor to a lcd. It only supports screen resolution of 640x480, 800x600, and 1024x768. Dune 2000 requiers 640x400. Is there anyway to change the resolution in Dune to 1024x768?

you meant that dune2000 uses 640x480 right? cuz if so it should run fine on your monitor

I've tried 640x480 it dosen't work. do you know how to veiw the size to 800x600 or maybe 1024x768

Nope there is only one resolution possible. You can get 640x400 or something but nothing larger.

just a thought, but running it inside a window on your desktop .. . would that work ?

try to set t to a standard VGA monitor and see what happens.

Does it remain a standerd VGA, or does windows detect and install your LCD again ?

I'm playing on an LCD monitor as well and my problem is that the bottom 25% of the screen is blank and it appears as if the Dune screen has moved up towards the top of the screen and leaving the top of the Dune game screen cutoff.

is it truely 640x400 the game runs in, or is it 640x480 ?

If it's 640x400 it would explain your problem, as you LCD screen may not be able to go that low.

i have tried the -g command but it appears incorectally. :'(

If the resolution is 640x400 there's no way you can change it, unless the game allows you to do so.
