Total War: Shogun, Medieval etc.

Anyone else play any of the Total War PC games.

They are my absolute favorite and have to be one of the best sets of games ever.

I agree baron, I dont think I've ever played a game as good as the total war series they are seriously good.

Baron do you know if an expansion pack is due for Medieval?

i got medieval total war yes. Has some realy good points, it's not my favorite though cuz everything is kinda slow. However i like the massive battles, the sounds of hundreds if not thousands of hooves running over the ground. Armor and weapons clinging, men screaming, arrows flying. It brings you realy into the battle.

One my friend brought me Shogun from Russia, very good game. But Medieval still isn't here in shops, so I remained being just a daimyo...

Hey I found out that there will be an expansion pack called the viking invaision and a sequel called Rome: Total War it looks pretty good.

Viking invasion sounds good... Also Rome Total war sounds promising... Better graphix i hope (in the case of individual units). For the rest i don't desire much news

it's a sequel according to Khan, however i have not heard anything about it... perhaps it's just a rumour

Viking invasion looks good i agree. I think i'll get that one too when it comes out

btw, i'm happy that castle sieges take longer since the new patch

I like Shogun: Total War very much. It don't run so good on my current graphic card though :'(

:- too bad, even though i do not have shogun, i'm quite glad that i can run medieval in great graphix. This makes castle sieges and stuff look brilliant. (like walls collapsing in on a group of men, crushing everything that comes under it)

ah yes i have seen screens of rome total war now.. and i can say that is fucking unbelievable... i just don't understand how they are gonna do that. I don't know what pc can handle THAT... that just looks incredible.
