how do i kill blood raven

Sofar I like this game, but I got a problem. I'm in the quest where you have to go through an underground passage to the dark wood (to recover the tree of infinuss, or something. It's the mission where you need that tree to get to tristram). In the underground passage, I go to UP level 2, but then there is no way except back. How do I proceed further ???

You missed an exit. There's the way to level 2, but there's also another exit. On level 2 you have a gold chest though, sometimes worth the detour :)

Ehhrr... use a weapon ? Blood raven is easy to kill. Don't spend time killing her minions, just go straight for Blood raven. When she dies, her minions die as well.

Lowzeewee, if you get killed quickly by Blood Raven, you must try to dodge her arrows. It's not that difficult.

Exit is on first floor. Second is only if you want some more experience.

Against Blood Raven it depends who you play. Easiest it's for Necro and Druid, their minions lure Raven's shots. But also I don't think she's hard to slay. Just take shield and sword. Or if you play Sorceress, try ice bolt.

Right now I'm in the quest where you have to retrieve the hammer from the monastary...damn that's hard. Any suggestions? I'm currently using Paladin.

If it's just the smid you're talking about (but works in general), try to lure minons aways and slash them away from the crowd or unigue that's in the area. Preferably in a spot where they can't surround you, like a small passage, such as a doorway.

Thanks. I noticed that dead shamans suddenly resurrect- is this done by some other shaman?

And is it just me or are pole arms pointless? The damage ratings are 1 - 27 or something like that, and they are slow. They seem unreliable to me.

only some hero shamans can resurrect other shamans... when you kill the hero, the rest is easy.

Retrieving the hammer is not too bad. Perhaps if you have some resistance aura's that would be nice against all those fire attacks. When that demon attacks, do hit and run attacks, (healing while running).

oh and btw, i think necro and sorceress are hardest to use vs. heroes like blood raven :) . Cuz they are not too strong themselves, and have many area of effect weapons, that do not much damage, but over a wide area. Making them good vs. weak and numerous units.

Added to that, choose your skills wisely.

That's hard, when you are paladin and you can't cast something on corpse. Wait for Redemption aura ;) Point all power on enemy shamans. Thou shalt not suffer shaman to live!

Throw that bardiche away and seek for a nice fast-striking bow. Best with some cold damage. Then use tactics of the modern warfare - shoot the cow! Also, resurrect your mercenary. Give as much points to Might as you can. When you have 5-6, it's enough. Until you'll have Vengeance and Fanaticism, but I consider that as cheats ;D

Humm, bugger. Try playing online (Europe server if possible :)), then I'm able to see if I have something for your character that you might be able to use. Besides, when you play online, you can always ask for help when needed :D

Diablo2 is fun online yes, but it takes quite a while and can get to kill your phone bill (if you have modem and actualy HAVE phone bill, like me in the Netherlands)

My provider, Orange, is our biggest GSM operator. They need 199 Sk (when 1 USD = cca 40 Sk) for two months for reactivation CD, then I pay only phone.

I haven't installed the X pack yet. Do any of you know if the saved characters will remain valid if I install it now?

Oh yeah, and I found a set item, a belt. And a few days later, I found the same set belt. Lol ;D

They'll work, but you should convert them to "exp.character" to use advances of x.
