i need some idea for my english. i have to write a sonnet about dune and i am kinda stuck on what to write it about.. i have a few wrote but they dont tickle my fancy.. if you are good at rhyms and syllabols.. can ya help me out a lil?

As the moon crescent crawls to a slumber

The sandworm glides across the open dunes

Exposing the massive body therein

Hissing the sands and the rocks a-whimper.

I dunno something like that, that was as close to iambic pentameter (assuming I know what it is lol) as I could get at midnight.

I've never understood english meter. Give me a good Homeric Hexameter and scansion becomes so much easier.

lol, cool.. i got two written today in my [explitive deleted] english class.. one is about selim.. and the other is about othyem.....(did i spell that right.. prolly not.) well thanks for the ideas... always fun to read.. ideas actually come flowing, lol
