Playing with Guild Subhouse in campaign?

I was wondering is it possible to play with the Guild Subhouse in campaign mode? When I played through the game the first time I never allied with the Guild.

Now that I picked it up again after a while I tried choosing missions so that I would end up allied with the guild but I couldn't. All the missions seem to circle around fremen sardukar Ix and teilaxu.

Unless you edit the rules.txt to make their units buildable by some other side. But you're still not really allied with the guild.

The Guild are supposed to be the 'neutral' side in the story line, that oversees the War of Assasins on Arrakis. It would be ridiculous according to the storyline if you could ally with them. They're actually the bad guys that you'll fight in the end along with the Tleilaxu, so there's no way you can ally with them. The Tleilaxu alliance that you can get is a phoney one as well. You end up losing the alliance you have with them (if you get it) when you reach the last mission anyway.

Well perhaps people might be bored playing the game getting the usual subhouses (probably Ix, Sardaukar, and Fremen) and they want to just have fun or experiment with a Tleilaxu alliance. It's just for information's sake, that's all. :P

I don't know... I thought it was interesting to ally with Tleilaxu for a while... Of course I abandoned them in favour of Ixian power. If only because if anyone's going to do any betraying it'll be ME.
