Darkrul3r
well, in a real the leader isnt the hight commander. A general comands the army.
VigilVirus
What about the president of US - Chief in command of the armed forces?

VigilVirus
Well, leader is obviously the main guy. Mentats can be replaced - they are usually gholas like Piter.
bryorama
Well i rethought that, maybe the commander because he controlls the army
Darkrul3r
hehe, never disagree with me ;) i still say the leader.
Shadowjaw
Perhaps the mentat, because he/she trains commanders? ::)
Vicsun
I would say it's whoever the army is loyal to. This almost automatically rules out the mentat :- I mean if the army follows the commanders who have deceided to take the throne by force, the leader is pretty much powerless. Apollyon
I would say mentat as they can function as a commander if required and they are more expensive to replace, especially if they are "twisted".
Shadowjaw
In my opinion then, all is equally important and everyone plays a role in the war. 8)
Dante
Not the man/woman in charge as they rarely are trated any better than a figurehead. Which, a lot of the time, it all they're good for. A good point about the loyalty of the army, but I'd say the mentats. Why? They influence the leader's decisions, and the leader may not command the army but he/she does command the people who run those armies (am I losing you?). Thus the armies are told what to do by the commanders, who are told what to do by the leaders who are told what to do by the mentats. Ipso, Facto.
