Anyone looking forward to this? I'll probably rent it on video. I'm a fan of the original Star Trek, but not the next generation. I just read Harry's review at Aint it cool. Bonus points for whomever finds the Dune reference in it.

Thats it. I was just about to edit this post and say "Patrick Stewart and Micheal Dorn don't count."

Btw, I read Aint-it-cool more for entertainment purposes, not because I take anything that site says seriously. Just thought I'd make that clear.

Everything on aint-it-cool is good for a laugh, but thats all. No real value to it. The isntant you start taking it's reviews or news seriously, youa re in big trouble. Thats actually one of his least vulgar reviews. You should read the one for Blade 2.

I prefer the next generation over the original... Star Trek is fun, but can be kinda stupid at times... The holodeck is a place where you'd rather not go to. And i hate the time traveling and alternate universe crap.

Also, no species except a few seem logical. (the vulcans seem to be the least logical of them all :) )

But i'll watch it. But not in the movie theater i think... just on video.

I only know 3 out of 6 of the old Star Trek movies.

1, 2 and 4

i only saw a part of 3.

I did see 7, 8 and 9 ofcourse.

either 8 or 9 is my favorite
