Dune's Record Broken

Steven Speilberg Presents: Taken, the new miniseries currently airing on the Sci-Fi channel, has smashed the all-time viewing record previously held by part one of Frank Herberts Dune. It ended up with over 6 million viewers, toppling Dune by 28%. Of course, some of you probably werewatching it to catch glimpses of the commercials for Children of Dune, I'm sure. It also happens to have Steven Speilberg's name in the title, which probably helped the ratings along a wee little bit.

It's obvious why the record was broken. people wanted to see a glimpse of COD. ;D

When COD comes out it will make Speilberg a mere blip in the universe. 8)

I didn't like Taken all that much. And of course it won because people wanted to see the COD. I met eight people while in Chicago, who stopped watching immediately after the COD trailer.
