I cannot believe it, went back to Emp like two days ago, and people have gotton better connections, faster comps and most important, TURNED THEIR GRAPHICS DOWN! Besides that guy who used the side of the map cheat on me << Mutters >> its been awsome, Emperor's average game speed has changed so much I am celibrating ;D

Well, what would you expect? People with crappy connections would have been gone by now. And only people who can actually play and enjoy the game stayed :)

People with crappy connections eh? I'm on a 56k modem. Is my connection crappy? I'm still around, and I can still enjoy the game online. :P

When all players put graphics on low it does not matter what connection you got ... the game will rock

Ermm, I don't put my graphics on low when I play online. I just turn the options onto the 16-bit color depth instead of 32 bit, and the textures and shadows to medium. The rest all stays high. The game still runs fine online with those settings.

I remember in the D3k days, ( Early early Emperor ) if ya could build a sniper in 55 secs the game was fast ;D. I remember one day, it was either Dplasma or Gigatittin that came in to a chat room full of 33 people ( As I said, early emp :- ) and said "Sorry I quit that game guys, the game speed was just to fast" we all liked that one. :)
