I actually got black to work in my mod, but I didn't like it because for some reason the black units and structures showed up as bright white spots on the radar map, making them highly noticeable. ??? ::)

i'd play one, maybe in an half an hour or so. i'll think about it. can you make an art.ini for me, cause i dont know what black is.... (the numbers like 255,255,255)

witch color do you want to be black? btw balck is 0,0,0

ordos or atredies. i will write that down. what is (255,255,255) in the art.ini? i know how to edit the art.ini, but i didnt know what black was.

Black was 0,0,0, in the artini.txt but that crashed the game. So I settled for 8,8,8, but didn't like how it showed up as bright spots in the radar (for the black units and structures), so I didn't have black in my mod at the finish. :-

i got it to work for 0,0,0 and it had hardly detectable spots on radar... why doesnt it work for you? ???

No idea. Maybe it was something else. I might try it again in another mod sometime. But the 8,8,8 gave bright white spots on the radar.

OS, that shouldnt make a difference.... :-

in my old screen that i had when i played CC then i was blue and my ally was also blue (daa) and with my old screen i didnt noticed what was my units what was his units and after i got my new screen now when i play coop i can see that my units are more darker blue... (but still i love black) so ixian is your screem old?

Completely not the case. That's just because your old screen wasn't very good in its display. My screen happens to be fairly new, (ok not brand spanking new, but not ancient either), and it couldn't have caused the black units and structures to be displayed as brighr white spots, even if it was old and going bonkers. ::) :P
