the patch adds a sardukar for the harkonnen (requires hitech and barracks), grenadiers for atredies (the same rquirements), and a stealth raider for ordos (requires lightfactory and hitech). i think it adds a map or two also. but i dont know... :-

Yeah, it adds about 10+ maps.

the new units are funny but hardly usable.. only the stealth raider perhaps.. sardaukar and especially grenadiers are absolutely useless in the later stage of the game though

Grenadiers are really only effective in groups of 10+, and even then are prone to siege tanks or raiders. The best extra unit is stealth raider because you can do many evil things to the enemy, like scout it out, put it over a refinery and the harvester simply can't get in. If this was a human enemy he would find out and try to kill it, but if it is AI it will take a while, giving you a clear advantage. Or block infantry/light factory units.
