did you set the volume level to 100 in your txt file?

I did that, and tested it. The results were very interesting. All of the normal skirmish music that was already in Emperor came blaring out. All the music that I added to skirmish was still much softer than the original Emperor music however, even though the general difference was that all the music tracks were louder. I replaced the Ordos skirmish music with music some music from Dune 2000, and those tracks were still softer than the normal Emperor music for skirmish. It appears anything that I add to the normal skirmish music for Emperor plays softer than the normal music. ???

ok, here's the ordos mix i slapped together tonight.

this is the same melody, but fully techno. Its only 2 minutes long, so its unfinished. I dont want to finish it unless it sounds good enough to pass. Keep in mind I'm not doing a major composition here :( I whipped this thing up in 3 hours so thats pretty fast. At any rate, if its good enough, I'll add some more stuff to it and make it 5 minutes long and do some touch ups to increase the quality.

Well, let me know what you think!

Those two songs appear to be the same files emprworm. Anyway, this track is almost perfect, just speed it up a little. I especially like the part just after 2:00!! ;D IMHO, the start of the song appears to be a little 'weak'. I suggest starting off softly and then quickly raising the amplitude dramatically. Immediately after that when the song is starting, start off slowly and then gradually speed up until you reach a pretty fast pace. I don't like the part with that sounds like an electric guitar at 2:33 - 2:46. It takes the song away from a 'technoish' feeling and makes it sound more like rock.
