new unit

I want to add a unit which looks like the assault tank to the atreides defence, it shall only have different weapon.th

how do I make another one of them?

To make that new unit, find the assualt tanks entry in the rules.txt

Copy the entire thing from

[HKAssualt] or wahtever its called

down to until that section ends and a new unit begins.

Paste the copied items below it, and rename

[HKAssualt] to something like [ATAssualt]

Search for, using your progs saerch thingy, the word 'declaration'

in that long listing is every unit in the game, Write in with the rest of the atreides tanks, the name you changed it to, so

ATMino

ATAssualt

ATMongoose

or whatever it says

Open the artini.txt file, and find the HKAssualt data in that, copy that, and paste it below, and rename the new pasted thing to ATAssualt or whatever.

well get onto the ingame name later, tell me if you need more help, and sorry im bad at describing things.

well the weapon is turretattach = hkassaultgun or something similar

simply change this to something else

find the original gun entry in the rules, create a new one named whatever u want based on the orginal and etc etc

and then I can change firing range, fire power etc??

and the unit I made, the Atreides Battle Tank, it does not say much, like orders received. how do I fix that?

u have to edit its XBF or the atreides sound txt file
