Turrets not enough health?

well, i see on gamespot that a level two turret has as much health as a refinery. now thats crap.

turrets are too easily destroyed. shouldnt they be stronger (health)>?

Are you talking about turrets in Emperor Battle for Dune? What do you mean by a 'level two turret'?

whoa, i stopped paying attention.

in emp, the turrets die fast. a level two turret would be a rocket turret, gun turret, etc. a level one would be a machinegun post, flame turret, etc.

Well IMHO, turrets are fine like they are. It would be too easy to just wall off your base and put turrets everywhere if they were the ultimate defence. The towers in Age of Empires were just ridiculous. One tower killing 10 knights and 10 infantry? ::)

i agree they're powerful, but i think they should last longer and do same or less damage. when the enemy sends 3 missle tanks at you, thats a waste of your windtrap building time and your turret money and your build time.

ah, the turrets for ATR and HK are ok. But I believe that the Ordos turrets are weak.

yeah, thats what i mean. the gas turret isnt even a turret, it just shoots gas very sloooowwwwyyyy. and the pop-up turret has bad range and doesnt shoot AA units down. i should edit that today......

yes, i believe KH2 made the laser turret AA. I am going to do that too.

In my mod, I've made it so that pop up turrets have more health, their shots are AA capable, they have a range comparable to that of the rocket turret, and the shots track enemy aircraft and vehicles as well. The catch is that I slowed the bullets down, they're no longer conceptual. I'm going to give the Ordos a new anti-infantry turret as well. It will be something like a machine gun turret with a long range that fires gas bullets.
